Pocket Forest

Welcome to our pilot Pocket Forests Podcast episode. The Re-enchantment. It's all about the wonderful benefits of nature for our health. We're the all-women Pocket Forests team, an innovative and inclusive urban greening social enterprise based in Dublin. In this podcast Ashe talks cork oak trees, Amy talks cauliflowers (and sings) and Catherine takes a short walk through the Furry Glen in Dublin's Phoenix Park with ecologist and author Anja Murray. Anja is the author of a wonderful book called Wild Embrace and was emerging after a dose of the flu to do some nature-bathing. This pilot is a pocket-sized podcast. And there will be more small but hopefully beautiful episodes coming. Please like, subscribe and share on all your favourite groups. Because nature means the world to us all.

In our second episode Amy, Ashe and Catherine talk tools, ponds and planting. We bring you to the wonderful Wild Acres in Wicklow, a nature reserve created by Gilly Taylor and Brian O'Toole. They want to help everyone do a little or a lot of what they're doing. If you’d like to create your own pond Gilly gives all the details. Meanwhile in the Pocket Forests world it's the end of planting season and we're a little excited and exhausted. Giddiness ensues.
